ごみは「garbage」にそろえる

文例の英語は、ごみを「garbage」にそろえています。英国では rubbish がふつうで、米国では garbage のほかに trash もよく使います。1枚の書類の中では、どれか1つにそろえると読みやすくなります。

場所は「in the kitchen」の形で入る

ツールでは、場所を選ぶと、英語は「in the kitchen」「at the entrance」のように前置詞ごと文に入ります。時刻は「22:00」のような24時間の書き方です。

ごみはキッチンのごみ箱に入れてください。Please put your garbage in the bin in the kitchen.

日本の住まいならではの決まりは、しかたまで書く

靴を脱ぐ・湯船のお湯・トイレ・ごみの分け方は、慣れない人が迷いやすい所です。文例では、何をしてほしいかを、しかたまで書いています。

  • 玄関で靴を脱いでください。室内はスリッパか靴下でお過ごしください。Please take off your shoes at the entrance. Wear slippers or socks inside.

英語だけでは足りないとき

案内する言語は、予約のときの言語で決まる

施行要領（ガイドライン）では、外国語での案内の「外国語」は、宿泊予約の時点で日本語以外の言語として示したものとされています（予約のときに日本語を指定した人には、外国語の案内は要りません）。中国語や韓国語で予約を受けたら、その言語の案内も用意します。

中国語は簡体字・繁体字のページ、5言語まとめてはハウスルールのテンプレートにあります。
